The Hyde Street garage is a property that I have long admired and tried to purchase on several occasions over the last 15 years. In 2009 I was finally able to acquire it from a bank after a large real estate investor defaulted on a mortgage encumbering this and other properties.

After a relatively short two year approval process, we began construction in late February 2012 and hope to be completed in spring/summer 2013. The project has seven residential units between 1,740 and 2,800 square feet, 17 parking places and a street level commercial space of about 800 square feet. Two units have private outdoor space and the others have access to a roof deck with a panoramic view.

Three units will be made available as what is known as "warm vanilla shells", meaning all new acoustic windows, new in-floor radiant heating, new floors, new electrical service including designated rooftop solar array, gas service brought to the kitchen, all new plumbing, but without appliances, casework, fixtures or bath fittings.

The intention is to allow buyers options in finishing out their space according to their own tastes and needs.
